Indigo Arts Alliance is thrilled to present its 4th annual Indigo Poppin’ Holiday Pop-Up Shop, spreading festive cheer over not one, but TWO exciting weekends! Join them from Thursday, November 30th to Sunday, December 3rd, and then again from Thursday, December 7th to Sunday, December 10th. Venture over to our Indigo Arts Alliance where you’ll uncover the perfect holiday treasures. Discover unique pieces of art crafted by their talented past Artists-In-Residence and an array of extraordinary Black + Brown artists from the vibrant global community.
Copper Beech Tree Lighting | Portland Museum of Art | 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Portland Museum of Art’s annual Copper Beech Tree Lighting returns to brighten up your holiday season! Make your own snow globe, enjoy performances by Maine Acadamy of Modern Music, hear nature and seasonally inspired poems from The Telling Room’s Young Emerging Authors program, and get some sweet treats from B+B Bakery. Plus, warm up in the museum and explore the galleries for Free Friday until 8 p.m. Festivities start at 6 p.m. and the Tree Lighting is at 6:30 p.m. Tree Lighting will happen, snow, rain, or shine! ASL interpretation will be available.
Paper Snowflakes Party | Rising Tide Brewing Co. | 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Come cut paper snowflakes with Rising Tide Brewing Co.! ❄️ An annual holiday tradition, come help the Rising Tide team decorate the tasting room with snowflakes! Family friendly, all snowflake cutting supplies provided free of charge. And don’t miss Mr. and Mrs. Claus on Sunday, December 3rd from 1 PM -3 PM as the holidays season most favorite duo swing by the tasting room for photos – grown-ups, kids, and pups are all welcome. Indoor Portland Winter Farmer’s Market | Stevens Square Community Center | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Join the jolliest crowd in town! Grab your Santa hat, your best holiday outfit, and join hundreds of fellow Santas on an epic bar crawl through the city. It’s the perfect opportunity to spread holiday cheer, make new friends, and enjoy a few festive drinks along the way. Your full Santa suit is your golden ticket to the festivities, but creative variations of Santa attire are also welcome – there has been everything from reindeer to Christmas trees, leg lamps, snowmen, and even Hanukkah Harry. Feel free to join in the fun for as long as you like, but it is highly recommend that you don’t miss the chance to be part of the epic group photo. Let it Glow – Tree Lighthing Ceremony | The Porthole | 6:00 PM
RESCHEDULED FROM LAST WEEK – The Porthole is about to light up your night with a dazzling luminary transformation of their deck, and it all starts with the lighting of their colossal lobster trap tree. Welcome to “Let It Glow,” the new tradition that’s bound to become a family favorite. Bring your loved ones and soak in the festive atmosphere adorned with a mesmerizing display of twinkling lights. Evening’s delights will also include a boozy (or not!) hot chocolate bar loaded with all your favorite toppings; a performance from the talented Don Campbell, who will keep the night alive with live music; and a special visit from none other than Santa Claus himself. In addition to Let it Glow, The Porthole will be hosting a Handmade Holiday Market from 10 AM – 2 PM, and will have the SantaCon crew rolling in for the dinner hour around 4 PM to 5:30 PM!
