We are on cloud wine, Portland Wine Week is taking place again this year from June 13th-June 19th, 2022!
Celebrating the best of what this seaside “Restaurant City of the Year” has to offer, Portland Wine Week will include seminars, tastings, weeklong deals, special events, & more! While it is only May, most, if not all, events are expected to sell out quickly. To ensure you don’t miss out on the fun, here’s a glimpse at a few events you cannot miss this 2022 line-up!
Wine Sails
There’s no better way to enjoy fine wine than aboard the 74-foot Sailboat, Frances as it heads out on Portland’s Casco Bay promising scenic views of lighthouses, islands, waterways, and more. Presented by Wine Wise, current sails available include Delicious France Wine Sail, Pacific Northwest Wine Sail, Fresh Maine Oyster Sail and more.

Sancerre, Caviar + Maine Oysters @ Maine Oyster Co. | Tuesday, June 14th – Saturday June 18th
“All week at Maine Oyster Co. á La Cart Ramen Night @ Mami | Wednesday, June 15th from 5PM – 8PM | First come, first served event
“Mami is teaming up with Ned Swain from Devenish Wines for an á la cart night of delicious ramen and orange wine pairings. Stop in at your leisure and choose between four different ramen and you’ll have the option of a delicious orange wine paring perfectly selected by Ned Swain, to pair with each bowl.”
Wine Spelling Bee @ East Ender | Monday, June 13th from 8PM- 10PM | FREE EVENT
“15 contestants will test their wine mettle in a good old-fashioned Spelling Bee at East Ender. This Bee will be focused specifically on wine terminology and will have actual wine available to keep your memory sharp. Winner will take home 500 dollars worth of gift cards for local restaurants. Cash bar, light snacks included, and probably Karaoke afterwards!”
Provence Wine Dinner @ Helm Oyster Bar | Sunday, June 19th from 5PM- 7:30 PM + 8 PM – 10:30 PM | $125 ++
“Helm Oyster Bar & Bistro is an ode to the coast and farmland offering an intimate dining room, bar, and seasonal outdoor patio along Portland’s historic waterfront. Join them to celebrate the start of summer with a Portland Wine Week wine dinner inspired by the wines of the Provence region of France. Wines will be paired with four delicious courses by Chefs Billy Hager and Dana Woodward.”
