Foodies, on your mark, get set, GO for Maine Restaurant Week! Returning for its 15th year on March 1st, 2023 and running until March 12th, 2023, Maine Restaurant Week will once again feature special offers, menus, and events that can only be found during this week!
Celebrating local and independently owned restaurants since 2008, Maine Restaurant Week initially began as a way to promote and show support to restaurants during the slower off-season months. Since its inception, Maine Restaurant Week has grown to become one of Maine’s most anticipated annual events with this year featuring more than 50 participating restaurants across the state and throughout Portland.

Kick-off Event: The Incredible Breakfast Cook-off
Kick-off Maine Restaurant Week a little bit early this year with a special Incredible Breakfast Cook-Off on February 28th, 2023 from 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM.
Maine’s Champions of Breakfast will be competing in the best and most entertaining breakfast cook-off ever at Sea Dog Brewing Co at 725 Broadway Street, South Portland. Taste all the breakfast creations, meet the chefs and vote for your favorite. All for a good cause, ticket proceeds will benefit Preble Street.

The Main(e) Event - Participating Restaurants

Offering: ($55) Sur Lie, a tapas style restaurant offering American contemporary and eclectic mix of influences from all over the world, is offering a three course, tapas style dinner. Choose from a kale salad with pickled carnival squash (first course); Short rib-Korean BBQ (second course); Wild mushroom risotto-black truffle (second course); Parsnip cake-acorn squash ice cream, curry caramel, honeycomb (third course); and more! Available for dine-in only. Due to the sharing nature of their tapas menu, the ENTIRE party must participate in the MRW week menu. There is absolutely no splitting between guests. Menu subject to change based on availability.

Offering: ($45) A casual American Bistro located at the top of Munjoy Hill, enjoy a three course menu at Blue Spoon for Maine Restaurant Week. Includes a selection of Soup du Jour, Citrus Salad, Heritage Chicken Breast, Pan Seared Salmon, Ricotta Beignets, Chocolate Pot de Creme, and more. Full menu offering here.

Offering: ($25) A casual joint in the Old Port, Cheese Louise takes grilled cheese to the next level with their menu of artisan grilled cheeses. During MRW enjoy a choice of soup, salad or Mac and cheese for the first course; choice of any of their grilled cheese sandwiches with kettle chips for the second course; choice of a chocolate chip cookie or a delicious Cheese Louise brownie for the third course, and one choice of their fresh squeezed lemonade.

Offering: ($45) Knotted Apron, Portland’s neighborhood bistro located in the heart of Rosemont, is featuring a Prix-Fixe 3 Course including French Onion Soup, Chicory Caesar Salad, Flat Iron, Roasted Half Chicken, and Chocolate Pot de Creme.

Offering: ($55) Serving the best of local Maine fish, meats, and vegetables infused with bold Mediterranean flavors, Evo Kitchen + Bar will be offering a three course tasting menu from their restaurant menu.
The menu does change daily, however the can accommodate any dietary restrictions or allergies (excluding Allium and Sesame). They will have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options during restaurant week.

Offering: ($7) Brickyard Hollow, a locally owned craft brewery pub which specializes in unique pizzas, pub fare and their own Maine brewed beers, is offering a slice of pizza and a pint of their own craft beer.
