- Jerome’s has officially opened in the former The Snug space at 223 Congress Street. “A local community New England sports bar that has a love for skateboarding, snowboarding, and surfing,” Jerome’s features a full bar with local and non-alcoholic options in addition to a food menu of sandwiches and daily specials.
Open Thursday – Monday 4pm – 11pm.
- Stars & Stripes Brewing has announced that they will be closing their Portland location end of February. The last day of service for the Portland location will be February 24th from 4pm – 7pm.
- The name of the new The Greeks of Peaks space in Portland has been revealed. Magissa, will be opening this spring at the former Baharat and Full Turn space in East Bayside.
- Argenta Brewing Co. will be opening to the public on Friday, February 23rd and will be open all weekend Saturday, February 24th + Sunday, February 25th. Reported back in November, Argenta Brewing Co. has moved into Banded Brewing Co.’s former space on Hanover Street in West Bayside. A brewery and tasting room, Argenta Brewing Co. is Portland’s only “lager beer saloon.”

- Lasagna Monday has started back up at Roma Cafe. Every week a different lasagna for $20 on a limited availability, first-come, first served basis.
- National Pizza Day is February 9th. Be sure to check out A Pocket Guide to Portland’s Pizza Scene to celebrate the day!
- Every Tuesday Room for Improvement will be transforming the bar into Portland’s Premier Escape(ism) Room for Rum for Improvement. Includes $10 tropical classics, Crab Rangoon Hot Dogs, Discount Scorpion Bowls, Homemade Malibu, and a free shot if you dress for the occasion.
- Maine Craft Distilling is throwing a Mardi Gras Party February 9th. Food and drink specials, 3 bands playing all night, and plenty of room to dance! Grab your tickets.
- Bar Futo will be hosting a Luna New Year Pop-Up with Chef Christine Lau on February 15th. Guests can expect an al la carte menu of disco fried wontons, prosperity hand rolls, char siu quail, sticky rice onigiri, sesame mochi balls and more. Reservations strongly encouraged.
- Fete Market will be popping-up at Austin Street Brewery on February 24th for a Fete Vendor Vent– an industry night for local artists and makers who do craft shows and markets throughout the year.
- Bissell Brothers Brewing Co. will be hosting Maine Academy of Modern Music’s Winter Rise Gala on Thursday, February 29th. Will include a rocking raffle prize, live auction, awards ceremony, food and drink, and entertainment. Tickets.
