Reed Foehl’s rural New England upbringing in the 1970s and 1980s featured typical family activities, with a twist. While he enjoyed Red Sox and Bruins games, family walks in the woods, and trips into town, his home was also the hub of a weekly band practice, where country and bluegrass music filled the suburban air. Even before his teenage years, Foehl was performing as a street musician in Boston, eventually making his way from backyard gigs to prominent venues like Red Rocks, with collaborations alongside artists like Kenny Aronoff and Graham Nash on his records, solidifying his place in the thriving community of contemporary songwriters.
Come feel the sounds of country-bluegrass music at One Longfellow Square on Saturday, November 4th.
