Portland Wine Week is back and it’s bigger and better than ever! From wine sails to brunches, lunches, dinners, seminars, and special menus, there’s something for everyone—from the casual wine lover to the serious oenophile. This event is your chance to meet winemakers, chefs, and sommeliers while exploring Portland’s vibrant wine scene. Celebrate the best of what this seaside “Restaurant City of the Year” (Bon Appétit) has to offer, with a strong community passionate about local food, award-winning boutique restaurants, and top-notch wines. Don’t miss out on this week-long celebration of all things wine!
Portland Bach Experience: Bach & Beer | Orange Bike Brewing Co. | 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Bach is back from June 6th – 16th, 2024, with the Portland Bach Experience, offering a variety of world-class live music events that connect friends and strengthen communities. To wrap up the festivities, celebrate the tradition of pairing good drink with great music at Orange Bike Brewing Co. with “Bach & Beer,” featuring a special “Flight of the BumbleBeer”—five pours of gluten-free beer paired with matching music. Prior to “Bach & Beer,” join Artistic Director Emily Isaacson and Portland Bach Experience musicians at Orange Bike Brewing Co. for “Move to the Music,” where children form a human orchestra and learn about rhythm, pitch, tempo, and dynamics through movement and song (starts at 3 PM). Both events are free to attend (beer available for purchase) and invite donations.

Pride Launch Party | Cocktail Mary | 3:00 PM
Join Cocktail Mary for their Pride Launch Party! Doors open at 3 PM for the cocktail bar, and the dance party of the year kicks off at 9 PM with music by DJ Ben Spalding. Enjoy great drinks, great people, and great music. All are welcome to celebrate and have a fantastic time. Happy Pride!

Pride Portland! Parade and Festival 2024 | Starts at Monument Square | 1:30 PM
Celebrate Pride Portland! with an annual parade and festival that honors the LGBTQIA+ movement’s accomplishments and fosters inclusivity, accessibility, and solidarity. This year’s event is on Saturday, June 15, rain or shine. The parade kicks off at 1:30 PM from Monument Square, traveling along Congress Street to Congress Square Park, down High Street to Park Avenue, and into Deering Oaks Park by Mellen Street. The festival at Deering Oaks Park runs from 1 PM to 6 PM. The 2024 theme: “Life as Art.”

Join Fete Market for the first market of the year! Fete Market is a curated pop-up market featuring local artists, makers, good brews, and food! To commemorate Juneteenth, the Indigo Arts Alliance (IAA) is reviving one of its founding programs, The Welcome Table, an intergenerational symposium celebrating the cultural and culinary traditions of historical social justice movements worldwide. Hosted at the Indigo Arts Alliance, this event will feature art workshops, movement and meditation sessions, cross-cultural history discussions, community-building activities, and cooking demonstrations led by local and national activists and cultural workers. As the LGBTQ+ community faces ongoing challenges, this gathering serves as both a celebration of Pride and a fundraiser for the ECC’s capital campaign, supporting the construction of LGBTQ+ affordable housing. Bar Publica Grand Opening | 82 Hanover Street |
Bar Publica, a new bar, kitchen, and night spot is opening this weekend. This space features a rooftop bar, unique indoor concepts, and elevated evenings of DJs and dancing. Bar Publica is located at 82 Hanover Street, in Portland ‘s Bayside neighborhood. They hope to bring a new energy to the area both during the day and into the nightlife scene. At this summer hangout spot you can expect an al fresco bar, outdoor and rooftop seating, live music, and more. They’ll be open every day from 12:00 PM -1:00 PM.
