News Update
Anything from recent closings, openings, and headliners.
- Saltwater Grille in South Portland will remain closed for the rest of the week due to the external and internal damage due to Saturday’s storm. Hoping to reopen next week.
- Union in The Press Hotel is undergoing a brief renovation. While the space gets a makeover, they have shifted service to Inkwell Lounge and The Press Hotel lobby. Expect a fresh look, cozy vibes, and some delightful surprises when they unveil the new and improved Union Restaurant.
- Luna Shawarma and Hummus Falafel will be hosting a grand opening Thursday, January 18th – Saturday, January 20th. Located on 2nd floor of Portland’s Public Market House, Luna Shawarma and Hummus Falafel will be giving out a free drink with each meal, and kids eat for free during the grand opening.

- Foundation Brewing Co.’s first beer release of 2024, Czech-style Amber Lager, is now available in the tasting room on draft and cans-to-go. Features sweet, cereal and honey notes from the malt, topped off by the aroma of Czech Saaz hops, and finishes crisp and smooth.
- Drag Disco Dinners with Chartreuse & friends at Sur Lie start February, 13th. They’ll be the second Tuesday of every month for the winter and spring. Tickets include a three course dinner, show, tip and tax. Reserve on Resy.
- Terlingua introduced their Spirit-Free menu. Featured on the menu are various drinks created by members of their bar team.
- Thistle & Grouse debuted a new happy hour. Runs Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 4pm-6pm and include 1/2 off tap beer and $6 Prosecco.
