Monthly Full Moon Celebration + Ocean Dip in South Portland, ME
Welcome to the Two Maine Mermaids Full Moon Swim Series!
Every month we go for a dip on the full moon. Come rain or snow, high tide, low tide, warm days, weekdays or weekends, we gather as a community to bear witness to self, others, and the cyclical rhythms of the earth and her seasons. These dips are a way to meet and celebrate ourselves just as we are in the moment- powerful, wonderful, and wild! They connect us to our bodies, attune us to nature, bring us into community, and spread a whole lotta joy in the process! Come join us for a swim, meet a community of like-minded folk, and laugh a ton. We can’t wait to see you there!
Thursday, August 11th
Willard Beach, South Portland, Maine
Gather at 6:45pm
Ocean Dip at 7:00pm

Two Maine Mermaids will continue to host a range of events that create community, spread joy, and encourage connection with nature. Be sure to sign-up for our e-newsletter, follow us on Eventbrite, or follow us on Instagram to stay up to date!

Start your summer mornings with a silent mindfulness practice at East End Beach. Find balance as you align yourself with nature’s rhythms.
Upcoming Dates
June 18 / July 2 / July 16 / July 30 / August 13 / August 27
Most mornings, we drag ourselves out of bed only to be thrown into hectic and anxiety-filled routines. Join Kaneel every other week for a soothing morning practice where we’ll experience the gradual shift from dark to light and bathe in the first moments of the summer sun.
During each practice, we’ll come together in silence, just before the sun arrives, using the walk along the beach to slowly awaken the senses and notice our relationship to the land and elements. We’ll then branch off, finding a unique spot that calls to each of us, where we’ll sit and observe the movement and stillness of the land as we take in the panorama of the sun rising over Casco Bay. As the sun illuminates the beach, Davinica will lead a group sharing circle, where our first words of the day will be full of gratitude, acceptance, and community. Being present for our sharing circle is totally optional, and if you’d prefer to stay in silence, we welcome and encourage your presence.
Sign up to receive details about where to meet, what to bring, and news about your session.
IMPORTANT EVENT INFO
This event will be held rain or shine.
You’re more than welcome to join us between 5 and 6:20 AM, but please arrive in silence.
Even though East End Beach does allow dogs, we ask that you leave your pets at home unless you have a service animal.
We ask that everyone remains at least 6 ft. apart during our self-guided meditation. During our reflection circle, we ask that everyone wear a mask (regardless of vaccination status) for the physical and psychological safety of everyone in the group.
Join us for a 60 minute vinyasa flow followed by beermosas on our patio!

Tomorrow!! MOVEMENT MORNINGS
Beach Bootcamps & Dip
Starting Wednesdays for the next two months Kelsy (Ebb) is going to be hosting free Movement Mornings in the form of beach bootcamps (and a dip!).
Every Wednesday (July 6-Aug 31)
Willard Beach, South Portland, ME
6am-7am
These are for all levels and tailored to individual needs. Kelsy believes that mental health originates in the body, strength supports empowerment, and that movement in community is a radically healing act. Just like our dips you’re encouraged to show up just as you are for these Movement Mornings. Kelsy will introduce exercise options and partner moves ranging from low-impact bodyweight moves to the occasional stations with props (battle ropes, trx, or medicine balls). These mornings will begin with a dynamic stretch and warm-up and end with a cool-down and DIP, of course! Kelsy will also be offering one on one, partner, and small group session spots at Dynamics Fitness for anyone in our Two Maine Mermaids community that wants to continue to build their own movement practice and train together in a supportive group setting. If you are interested in a 1:1, partner, or small group session with a couple of folks from this community (up to 4 people) email –
[email protected] with the subject: MOVEMENT.
